Full Biography for Jim F Navarro

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Union City

Jim Navarro is a Principal Engineer with Computer Sciences Corporation. Jim is a veteran of the United States Navy and is currently the School Board President for the New Haven Unified School District. Jim and wife Pam have three children and have been residents of Union City for over 12 years. Jim has been an active member of the community, involved in such programs as the "Yes For Kids" school bond initiative, School to Community Program Council, New Haven School Foundation, Union City Performing Arts Council, Regional Occupation Program and Logan High School Band Boosters. More recently, Jim and Pam were members of the winning Union City delegation to the All-American City Competition in Philadelphia.

If elected, Jim will give the same dedication and commmitment to the City that he has given in the past years to the New Haven Unified School District. Jim will continue to reach out to all segments of our commmunity and encourage participation between the City Council and City Commissions, the School District, the Chamber of Commerce, local churches, non-profit organizations, and private citizens.
