Cathie Brown initiated Livermore's Promise - Alliance for Youth to our community.
Livermore's Promise - Alliance for Youth is an initiative which addresses complex issues facing young people. It is modeled after Retired General Colin Powell's "America's Promise." Cathie initiated and has strongly developed this program in Livermore. As a result, opportunities for kids are funded, grants are being acquired, and most importantly, we are providing a place for young people in the community to gain the resources necessary to prepare them for adulthood. As your Mayor, Cathie works very hard for our kids. She introduced City youth to government by launching the Youth Advisory Commission, and she continues to foster partnerships with our community organizations which benefit our youth.
