Governor

I believe leadership is about serving others -- not serving yourself. As an elected official with more than twenty years of service, I have proven my leadership abilities in both county and statewide offices. More importantly, this experience has helped me develop a vision for Ohio's future. I believe in a government that empowers individuals to improve their lives through education and to adequately support their family by finding a good job. I will focus on fulfilling this vision and address the most pressing problems facing our state -- especially improving academic achievement in our schools -- while providing a low-cost, high-performance state government that helps people help themselves and then gets out of the way.
