"Mike Fitzgerald on crime - firm but fair.", Joseph Russoniello, former US Attorney for Northern California.Concern for the victim must be central to our approach to the criminal justice system. As your Assemblyman, I will: Oppose attempts to weaken the "Three Strikes, You're Out" law. Support effective gun control by enforcing the "10-20-Life" legislation (automatic 10 years for use of a gun in a crime, 20 years for firing the gun, and a life sentence for wounding a victim during a crime). Oppose probation for a minor who commits a violent act while personally using a gun. Support the extension of the death penalty. Support tougher penalties for gang-related felonies. Support strengthening laws aim a preventing investment fraud that targets senior citizens. |
