The average American pays more in taxes than for food, clothing, and housing combined. What is a tax? The government takes your money and gives it to someone else. When an individual does this, it's called theft, and we try to put the thief in jail. When government does this, it's considered virtuous. Government claims it can spend your money better than you can. Thus, government has usurped functions of individuals, families, businesses, and charities. Our freedom ends where income confiscation begins.
