Additional Endorsements for Philip J. "Phil" WeiseCandidate for |
Three members of the South San Francisco Unified School District are running a joint campaign for election. They are Shirley Hoch, Romolo Braschi and Philip Weise. It is unusual for candidates to run a campaign as a team, but this board of trustees has been remarkable in its ability to come together and work together. For this reason we believe that South San Francisco will benefit if all the present trustees are returned to office. We endorse Hoch, Braschi and Weise. They have been in the forefront of a number of accomplishments that have resulted in the school district's forward movement.

It settled labor contracts with no dispute or recriminations, nurturing good relationships with There are more programs that have been implemented by the present board that reflects on their outstanding contribution to the city's system of education but we can't list them all. We are impressed with the work they have done and we urge the citizens of South San Francisco to elect them to the school board so they can finish the job. The INDEPENDENT newspaper. |
