Political Philosophy for Randy OkamuraCandidate for |
It is an honor and a privilege to have served the Fremont Union High School District these past four years. I look forward to continue serving a highly distinguished district with the following priorities:
1.achieving high academic standards We have high expectations for education and student achievement. But most importantly, let's make sure our students have fun and enjoy their high school years. We know what challenges face them tomorrow. I would like to share a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson that exemplifies why I feel so strongly about educating our children and why I want to continue serving our community. "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics . . . to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, . . . or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." |
