Protect our Premium Property

A preview of Erin Garner's campaign platform
Monte Sereno contains some of the most premium residential real estate in the country. I view it as the responsibility of City Council to protect our property value and our people.

To that end, I will be seeking to use my business knowledge, my environmental skills, my geologic skills, and my safety awareness and training to protect us against unsafe overdevelopment. At the same time, I will be facilitating property improvements by encouraging the development and use of Monte Sereno Design Guidelines and by stressing flexibility on a case-by-case basis.

I will also be seeking establishment of a public safety committee to build community awareness regarding crime, fire, and earthquake protection.

I view these actions as fundamental to protecting our property value and our people.
