Arguments For Measure K |
Section 800 of the City Charter required that
the City Council adopt its first Administrative Code upon approval of the
Charter in 1960. The first Administrative Code was adopted shortly after
the 1960 approval of the Charter. This provision was only needed
at that time and serves no purpose in 1998. To aid in the Charter "clean-up",
the City Council recommends you vote yes on Measure K.
