Oppose tax & tuition increases. Cut bureaucracy. Student success #1 priority. Increase job training, certificate, transfer programs.The South Orange County Community College District established a nationwide reputation for educational excellence that's now under attack. Problems plague our tax-supported Saddleback and Irvine Valley Colleges; administrative mismanagement; indebtedness; news reports of outsiders and extremists who vow to "shut the colleges down," and deplete financial resources with frivolous lawsuits. Strong leadership and reforms are necessary to stop financial mismanagement and narrow political agendas from destroying our colleges. I'm the only fiscal conservative candidate who lives, works and is raising three children in South Orange County. I'm working on a sub-committee in opposition to an El Toro airport.
