Charles W. "Pete" Maddox was born and raised in Santa Ana, where he lives with his wife, Madeleine, and two of his three children. His daughter, Kristen, attends ninth grade at Foothill High School in Tustin, and his son, Michael, attends sixth grade at Hewes Middle School, also in Tustin. His daughter, Tricia, is an elementary school teacher in Anaheim.
Pete has always been an active member of the community. He served as a member of the Governing Board of the Rancho Santiago Community College District from 1990 to 1997, when he moved into the Tustin Unified School District.
Pete's service on the Board of Trustees can best be summed up by those who paid tribute to him upon his retirement.

upon Pete's retirement from the Board of Trustees
Pete has operated his own consulting business in Orange County for over 15 years. The Maddox Company, LLC, specializes in custom-built computers and network systems, serving businesses throughout the United States.
His clients range from a small sportswear distributor in Laguna Hills, to the aerospace division of B.F. Goodridge in Irvine, to a nationwide medical records tracking company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
