Full Biography for Bob Biddle

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Huntington Beach

I am 45 years old and a lifelong resident of this city. I have been married to Janet for over 23 years and Eric is our 16 year old son. I am proud that my son is the 4th generation of our family to live here!

Currently, I own a travel agency and also a line of casual clothing that is sold nationwide. I previously owned a silkscreen printing company, and before that, I was manager of Hilltop Liquor for over 20 years.

After graduating from Huntington Beach Union High School, I attended Goldenwest College, Cal-State Fullerton, and also U.S.C. My major was in Communications.

I am currently serving on the Planning Commission and was appointed by Councilman Dave Sullivan the morning after his victory in 1992. I served as Chairman of that Commission in 1996.

I am the Immediate Past President of Huntington Beach Tomorrow and have been on their Board of Directors since 1989. I have served three terms as President and was President of HBT when we had to fight to put Measure C before the voters in 1990.
