As your Supervisor, I will work to increase participation in the democratic
process by adapting our representative government to the needs of the community.
We need to make it easier for people to play a part. I will:
¨ Open a Novato office and maintain regular hours
¨ Work to make county government more accessible by posting online vital
information about meeting agendas, minutes, applications, fee schedules, etc.;
¨ Hold regular Town Hall meetings;
¨ Attend Neighborhood Association meetings;
¨ Work collaboratively with Novato City Council;
¨ Continue to play an active role in our community. The 5th District Supervisor
should not be isolated in the Civic Center.
