Dr. Alan Van Nevel is entering his third year as a Ridgecrest resident. Initially a post-doctoral researcher at NAWC, he has been hired as a Department of Defense employee. His wife, Kim, is a teacher in the Sierra Sands school district. Kim and Alan have a 16 month old daughter, Hannah. Recently, the Van Nevel's have purchased a home, and plan on making Ridgecrest their long term home.
