With my background in economics, I understand the need to use taxpayers money in the most effective and efficient way possible. We have balanced the budget while holding taxes down. I am in favor of making community improvements without using tax money. For example, we built Centennial Plaza with private donations. We beautified the medians on Stockdale Highway with voluntary support from surrounding neighborhoods.

I believe that we need prudent budgeting in government. We must continue to balance the budget and keep reducing taxes.
