Political Philosophy for Marian WashburnCandidate for |
I feel local government should work for the citizens of the community. That means: 1. People should be confident in the quality of their law enforcement and should feel safe in public places and in their homes. 2. Our city's public streets should be maintained to a better standard. 3. Placerville's public property should be kept free of weeds and trash. 4. Tax subsidies should not be given to private developements. 5. Increased attention should be given to solving traffic congestion problems. I am committed to: Getting the best service possible for the tax dollar. Listening to the public. Knowing the facts before taking action. Bringing complete, truthful information to the public. |
