I believe that Fire Department services along with other public services will be enhanced when we are a city.The Preliminary Fiscal Analysis indicated that if the Fire Department is a part of the proposed City of El Dorado Hills, it forecasted that there will be a higher level of expenditures by approximately 15% for Fire and Emergency Medical Services than what the Fire Department's five year plan shows. Also, the law mandates that a newly incorporated City must maintain pre-incorporation service levels. I believe that Fire Department services along with other public services will be enhanced when we are a city. However, the Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis, which needs to be done first before we vote on incorporation, will give us the facts to make an informed decision. |
