REFORM LOBBYISTS LAWS

Political Action Committes (PAC also known as lobbyists) have too much influence on our elected officials. Our representatives spend more time with the lobbyists than with their constiuents. Lobbyists have used monetary means to make the laws of our nation. This needs to be stopped and stopped now!

Registered, well organized, well-financed lobbyists have more and easier access to your elected representative then you do.

For every Congressman, Congresswoman, and Senator in Washington D.C., there are 25+ paid registered lobbyists. I believe they are not there in the public interest but for their own personal gain.

Congressmen make $133,000+ a year. Lobbyists make upwards of $1,000,000 per year. As for me, I do not want that large of a group with that much income to have easy access to your elected representatives. I have never met anyone who makes that amount of money. They do not have time for you and me but they certainly have time to influenced and buy your representative's vote.

If elected, I pledge to you that I will put up a sign on your office door in Washington D.C. that says no lobbyists will be admitted. Any lobbyist that fails to honor that request, will be warned and if they still try, I will seek a court injunction to keep them out of your representative's office.

The only people with friendly access to your office will be you. District citizens who come to Washington D.C. will be met on a first come, first serve basis and allowed access to their elected representative.
