Government was never intended to be the solution to all of our problems. If we continue doing the same things we have been doing, namely, looking to government for solutions, we will continue to get the same results; bigger, costlier government agencies, and less personal rights and freedoms. It is time to change our problem solving approaches back to ones that rely on personal responsibility, strong families, and a return to a thriving free enterprise system.

The strength of our great society has always been as good as the strength of our traditional families. We must stop creating laws that weaken the rights of parents, disparage the traditional family, financially penalize people for being married, or tax their life's savings even after death.

The great free enterprise system that should be driving the discovery of solutions to our problems has been derailed by over taxation and over regulation. We need to be developing tax credits for small business start-ups, research and development, personal savings/private sector health plans, employer tuition reimbursement, on-site education and training programs that replace government programs, private sector integrated transportation solutions, massive flex scheduling to help ease traffic problems and enable parents to fulfill their child-care responsibilities.

We need to ensure the right to vote on all taxes; no hidden or imposed "special district fees". We must protect Constitutional rights of private property rights and the right to bear arms. We must continue to uphold traditional marriage laws and to protect the sanctity of life at all ages.

I offer a return to values, a common sense approach to reducing government, a determination to protect and value strong families, and will always place Principles before Politics.
