Linda LeZotte, 49, is a San Jose Planning Commissioner, Attorney, and Volunteer who has been active in our local community for the last 25 years. In 1966, Linda came to the South Bay with her family. She enrolled at Foothill College and then San Jose State, working her way through school as a part-time bookkeeper, legal secretary, and paralegal. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University in 1973. Following her undergraduate degree, Linda took post-graduate paralegal classes, then pursued a career in law. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1980m, and received a Masters degree in tax law in 1983. In the 18 years Linda LeZotte has been practicing law in the Bay Area, she has spent a great deal of time working to improve education, public safety, and land use decisions throughout our community. Through her leadership in these and other organizations, Linda has worked with many of San Jose’s elected officials, community activists, environmentalists, and business leaders to improve our community. Linda LeZotte has lived in San Jose’s City Council District One for the last nine years. Her law practice is located in downtown San Jose. |
