Equal access to fairness, and the public's faith in the wisdom of judicial decisions are essential values for me, as are: 1) a well-informed judiciary, 2) community involvement of judges, and 3) effective use of organizational and technology tools to assure that our courts function as cost-effectively as possible.

I work hard to assure these values, both in my courtroom and in my training of other judges throughout the state in such subjects as:

  • Fairness and Ethics
  • Preliminary Hearings
  • Misdemeanor Sentencing
  • Summary Judgment Motions
  • Court Management

I particularly emphasize these values, plus techniques for assuring them, in my training of new judges.
