It is important to provide the voters with the truth when candidates attempt to compare their respective skills and endorsements. A mailer by Judge McGivern failed to accurately reflect a comparison of our respective work experiences and it failed to accurately list the support I have received from "Public Safety/Law Enforcement".My opponent's mailer failed to accurately compare the actual legal experience of the two candidates. The mailer failed, among other things, to list some of the deputy District Attorneys who have endorsed my campaign, including Milt Hyams, deputy District Attorney (formerly of Marin for over 20 years, now a D.A. in San Francisco), deputy District Attorneys Pat Williams, Charles Cacciatore, Otis Bruce, Teresa Leon and others. It also failed to list Captain Reggie Lyles of the Novato Police Department as an endorser. Naturally, it also failed to list the other over 850 endorsers of my candidacy. |
