Professional Experience: Attorney. Solo legal practice. Contract law, family law, real estate, living trusts/wills & probate, civil litigation. Serves as pro tem Settlement Judge for the Marin Courts. Arbitrator for fee dispute cases. Member of Marin County Bar. Instructor on domestic violence for battered women advocates, police departments and service agencies. Instructor, legal clinics format on dissolutions (conducted in Spanish), consumer law, landlord & tenants' rights. Director, Marin County Bar Association. Former Chair, Administration of Justice Committee. Member, Client Relations Committee. Director and Treasurer, Marin County Women Lawyers Board. Newsletter Editor. Faye D'Opal was named Lawyer of the Year, 1995 by the Marin County Bar Association. She received the Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Award from the State Bar of California three times.
