Suzan Mannisto

Education & Qualifications:

I am interested in participating on the Belmont Elementary School District
Board to become involved in shaping the education of my children. My husband
and I have lived in Belmont for 12 years. We have two children entering school.
We love living in Belmont, and have many friends who have given their time and
effort to making our city a great place to live. I am a busy parent, spouse and
businesswoman, but I feel it is my turn to contribute in an active way to that
spirit of community involvement.

The School District Board interests me because I believe that our school system
contributes greatly to the character and quality of our city. Belmont schools
currently enjoy a very high reputation, and I have a keen interest in the
continuation of that standard. I would like to have a hand in helping to
develop policies that maintain and strengthen our  educational system at the
local level.
