Education and Qualifications:

As your councilwoman, I base every policy decision I make on how to enrich the
quality of life for every citizen. With this objective, I have improved park
facilities; nurtured a thriving business environment, spearheaded
Broadway-Burlingame streetscape projects; requested Bart to minimize traffic
impacts; started reforestation programs with Caltrans to save our trees and
monitored city investments and expenditures.

During my tenure, I have guided our magnificent library to completion,
retaining its classic design, while planning for the information age and the
new millenium. I guarantee its legendary service of learning and leisure to
everyone.

With your support, I will hasten dump reclamation into a 21-acre new millenium
recreation complex serving all ages, providing a fully-lighted soccer field,
softball/baseball field, and lighted golf driving-range; I will strenghten
city-schools partnership, complete swimming pool, begin Broadway
grade-separation plans; and negotiate to televise council meetings in CATV
agreement.

I will continue my efforts to protect our neighborhoods so that improvements
give needed family comforts, while preserving the surrounding ambiance.

With your vote, I will continue responsiveness to calls, fairness, prime
service from every city department; and protection of our beautiful
Burlingame's best interests locally/regionally.
