For two segments of our community, our seniors and our youth, the quality of our services and programs are very important to their daily activities. That is why I am committed to keeping our existing programs and exploring new programs as additional funds become available to the General Fund through economic growth, like the previously described hotel at Ocean Colony. We have demonstrated through projects like renovating Kehoe and Ocean View parks that our community relishes recreational opportunities. The new Boys and Girls Club near the Lutheran Church will also fill a void. Likewise, programs like meals-on-wheels and senior recreation are important to our older residents.
