I believe strongly in the value of a public education. I am fiscally conserviative, yet I feel it is vital that we give all of the children in our district the tools and the confidence to use those tools to meet the ever changing demands that their future holds. We must prepare our children to be able to compete in a global society. This means nurturing and challenging every child in these most important years. High academic standards and the expectation that our children can and will meet those standards are key components of a successful education. Providing support programs that help all of our students meet those standards is just as vital. The education of today's youth must be a priority for our entire community.
