Government agencies should put interests of current residents first, instead of those of out of the area developers. I believe in small local government, responsive to the people. California's Brown Act, which sets requirements for openness in meetings of all government bodies, is one of the most important laws in California. All government agencies should strive to comply with both the letter and the spirt of the Brown Act.
