I am running for city council because I believe we need more leadership and less politics. It is no accident that Los Altos is a wonderful city. It is a result of visionary leadership. Such leaders focus on what is important and solve problems instead of politicizing them. Leaders solicit and respect other's opinions. They are fair-minded and independent. They intelligently analyze issues and are creative. They can lead diverging public opinions to a consensus, and are effective in planning and execution. I have a record for providing such positive leadership; both at work and in my many community activities.
