In my profession as an analyst and systems engineer, I have a demonstrated ability to comprehend complex issues and make decisions. These skills are very useful in the public sector.

As the founding president of Los Altos Sister Cities Inc, I led our committee through establishing a non-profit organization, setting criteria, selecting our first two sister cities in Australia and Russia, and negotiating the agreements.

I helped found Los Altos Education Foundation (LAEF); supporting Los Altos elementary schools and have worked on the elementary school funding campaign (Measure A).

I was the first to publicly request that the city council purchase all of the St. William school property (401 Rosita); and I helped select a concept for open space and recreational uses of the 5.5 acres.
