Education & Qualifications:

BBA in human and labor resource management, Texas Tech University.

I moved to the coastside seven years ago and immediately fell in love with this
area and the wonderful people. I've always been interested in public service
and feel like I could bring a positive change to the fire board.

Our community is uniquely isolated from the rest of the cities in the bay area
and for that reason we must be better prepared to handle large emergencies on
our own. We should be encouraging more volunteers to join the fire department
at a time when their ranks have been dwindling. Well trained volunteers that
live in our community are an important resource in times of major incidents.
Tax dollars should be spent wisely and there is certainly no better value than
volunteers with community pride willing to make sacrifices for the betterment
of their community.

Our fire department needs more public input at the monthly board meetings and
new ideas from the knowledgeable citizens of our community.
