With a growing economic base and strong economy, San Mateo has a stronger budget than five years ago. As a council member, I will fight for appropriate funding for police protection to combat youth gangs and to make our streets safe for our seniors, our families, and our youths - for all of us. There is no reason San Mateans should fear crime…we have the ability to fund youth programs to keep our youth in positive programs to fund police services adequate to protect our citizens.
