Education and Qualifications:

I will bring to the council position an extensive amount of business
experience. With my public relations expertise, two degrees in Hospitality
Industry Management, and my specialization in Business Management and
Accounting systems I am well qualified to carry out the duties as your city
council representative.

Over the past 29 years, I have been involved in many important decisions that
have formed Brisbane as we know it today. As Planning Commissioner, I made the
original motion to develop Brisbane's Sierra Point Marina. I was also one of
the original organizers in campaigning against the Garbage Burner. Most
recently, I worked with many other residents to get the Cozy Cove site
designated as a park.

My now grown family was raised in Brisbane. Problems regarding schools,
transportation, recreation, and senior issues are all very familiar and of
great concern to me. Questions should be asked and difficult problems should be
explained. I believe in responsible government accountable to the people. I
definitely do understand that the City Council's duty is to oversee the well
being of its residents and assure funds are properly managed. 

As a longtime Brisbane resident, I have served Brisbane well in the past and I
will do the same in the future. Most importantly to become your city council
representative and to represent you where it counts...I need your vote!
