Occupation: Appointed Incumbent

Education & Qualifications:

Water is our most valuable natural resource! We must conserve and protect it.
As a member of our Water District Board of Directors, I have worked diligently
to provide El Granada and Half Moon Bay with drinking water meeting every
federal and state quality guideline. My Bachelor of Science degree helps me
focus the biological issues involved in water treatment and management. I also
voted to keep water rates at last year's level.

My wife, Eva, and I, have lived on the Coastside many years, raising our
children here and now enjoying our grandchildren here. We have participated in
numerous activities to improve the quality of life in our community. I was
first Chairman of the Half Moon Bay Parks and Recreation Commission and founded
the local Recreation Department enabling thousands of coastsiders to
participate in 
athletic, cultural and artistic programs.

I was appointed to the Board of Directors 18 months ago taking the place of Joe
Reid who died in a tragic plane crash. I respectfully ask for your vote
November 4 so I can complete his term of office and continue to serve you.
