I am a fiscal conservative. I believe that there should be a balance between the needs of business enterprises and their responsibilities to the taxpayers and residents. I believe that it is appropriate for City Council's to provide input to the local school boards, since they both represent the same constituency. I believe that we have a responsibility to provide additional affordable housing within our community. I believe that we must plan our civic center not just for today's needs, but for the needs of future generations. I believe that it is the responsibility of the City Council to keep Foster City as the best place to live. work and play on the Peninsula. I believe that Councilmembers must treat each other with respect, regardless of our diverse viewpoints.
