In California, water is life. It must be managed with great sensitivity. With the limited carrying capacity of Coastside land, more water is not always better. When there's too much water, or when it's used for the wrong things, it becomes too inexpensive and promotes too much growth. We should pay at least as much attention to the quality, reliability and efficiency of water service as we do to its quantity. We should have full disclosure of water-related decisions and future directions, since these can have major impacts on the Coastside economy and quality of life.
