- Mayor 1990-91, 1995-96 
- Planning Commissioner 1979-88 (twice Chairman) 
- Chairman, Library Architectural Advisory Committee 1992-Present 
- Co-chairman Measure "A" (new library bond issue) 
- First President of "The Elms" Board of Directors (85-unit senior assisted
living facility) 
- Harbor Industrial Area, annexation co-negotiator
- 21+ year resident 
- BA (Political Science/Economics), MBA (Finance/Accounting)

Primary Goals/Concerns:
- Continuous economic health of downtown/entire business community 
- Support for parks, recreational facilities, youth programs 
- Completion of new library, RR grade separation at Holly Street, 
	Brittan/101 Connection 
- Emphasize "Quality of Life" issues

San Carlos' uniqueness is a positive result of many dedicated volunteers and
City staff, who selflessly work together to create a true "spirit of
community", allowing common sense decisions for the common good to prevail in
an atmosphere of cooperation. My 18 years of public service have allowed me the
privilege of demonstrating high levels of leadership, integrity, dedication,
creativity, flexibility and hard work. I have a track record of sound decisions
on such topics as balancing budgets, traffic, park renovation, and economic
vitality for all San Carlos.
