Official Ballot Statement

Caroline Shea	Age: 48
Occupation: Incumbent

Education & Qualifications:

I am currently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Millbrae School
District. I am seeking re-election in order to continue my personal commitment
for excellence to the children and parents of our community. As a long time
resident of Millbrae, with four children educated in our public schools, I have
played an active role in improving our local schools:

PTA President-Elementary, Middle and High School; Presenter-California and
National Middle School Conference; Developed district strategic plan for years
1995-2000; Implemented district technology plan for access to the Information
Super Highway; Maintained fiscal responsibility to balance our budget.

If I am re-elected, I shall continue to improve our current programs, as well
as, looking for new and innovative techniques that will bring our children into
the 21st century. As your School Board member, I will continue and encourage
opportunities for excellence for all children. My proven commitment,
enthusiasm, and experience will make our school district a model for our
surrounding communities.
