Having worked in the area of emergency services for over 15 years as a paramedic, fire fighter, safety officer, consultant, and now as a manager, I have a good understanding of how rapidly this industry is changing. I believe that the Menlo Park Fire District is a national leader in its commitment, dedication, and quality in the areas of emergency medical and fire services. I will be committed to ensuring that this high level of assistance continues. Because this Fire District is capable of setting the standard for the industry now and in the future, I will be supportive of new technologies exploration and will be responsive to needs of the community. One way to ensure that the District maintains its high standards is by employing and supporting highly qualified individuals. They are an essential component to providing the kind of service we have come to know.
As a resident of Menlo Park, I share your desire to make the Menlo Park Fire District the very best it can be. I would appreciate your vote on November 4, 1997. I promise that I will work hard not only to ensure the quality of service we have come to count on continues, but that future services exceed your expectations.
I look forward to the opportunity of serving my community and using my experience while serving on this Board. Thank you for your support.
