Sewage must be collected and treated so that it does not create a public health hazard. I believe in doing this as safely, efficiently, and economically as possible. The sewage treatment plant is currently being expanded; I support this expansion, and have been part of the process during the planning, financing, biding, contract award, and beginning of construction. I continue to monitor progress of construction. I believe people who own property in Granada Sanitary District are entitled to develop that property if they follow all the zoning and planning rules and if there is adequate capacity to treat their waste waters. I listen to the public, study the existing ordinances and resolutions, and make best decisions based on all the facts. I pledge to be honest, fair, and hardworking.
