                                   Mayor
   Occupation: Businessman
   Age: 63
   Education and Qualifications:
   I have been a resident of Gilroy since 1976, and although I am a
   native of Las Cruces New Mexico, I am now a Gilroyan.
   
   Education:
   B.A. Business Administration, New Mexico University
   M.A. Business Administration, Golden Gate University, San Francisco
   
   Studied towards a Ph.D in Business Administration and a law degree.
   
   I proudly served my country as a Commission Officer in the US Army and
   as a Reserve Commission Officer for 35 years.
   
   I have been a hard working businessman in Gilroy since 1976. I will be
   a hardworking, honest, responsible public servant for all citizens of
   Gilroy. As a citizen and public official I expect nothing but the best
   of myself and other public servants and I am a staunch supporter of
   government for the people by the people.
